October is shaping up to be a very busy month - oh, yeah, it's almost over.

Black Forest Wedding Cake

Terrible photo, but the explanation will help. We had been selected to cater a remote wedding on a private estate in Central Georgia. Aaron Neville performed and the stage had been set and lighted as we brought in the cake. And yes, those are pigs on top.

We shipped the cake crumb coated and on dry ice, then finished and decorated on site in a tent, in a field and miles from anywhere. As they tiers were assembled, they were stacked in a refrigerated truck.

A couple of "fun" photos that Brittany finally sent me.

"Bagel"-fu - your bagel is no good. We received these "wack-a-doodles" from one of our bread purveyors. All I have to say is, "WOW!"

One of my favorites from over the winter - Benton Farms Bacon.

It's been a minute. Summer has been painfully slow, but maybe it's for the best. We moved at the begining of July   and I have certainly used the time to catch up with family and getting settled. Anyway I do have a few items to add...

Long, slow Summer

Not a whole lot happening here. We've had a couple decent events, but nothing really noteworthy coming out of the shop. We did have one lunch plate (that canceled an hour before), too bad for them.
