What a day. Have I ever told you how much I hate delivering buttercream cakes during the summer. Half way between Legendary and Piedmont Park I looked in the rear view mirror to see Kristi's hand supporting the cake with the icing squeezing out from between her fingers. I will be lodging my complaint with Kasim on Monday.

I should have snapped the cake before we left. It started as a simple gum paste flower boarder, but after our repair job we had a nice cascade instead. All in all it turned out well. The brides were happy and the guests ate all but two slices.

Today we did a wedding presentation for a local radio personality. Casual Southern Charm, little bits of goodness without the cupcake - Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Icing - Lemon Buttermilk Pound Cake, Homemade Strawberry Jam, Lemon Curd and Vanilla Buttercream - Devil's Food Cake, Caramel-Roasted Peanut Buttercream - simply delicious.

Slow couple of weeks, but we've "popped" it back into gear. Lots of fun stuff coming up...
